The mountain

Ischgl links with duty-free Samnaun in Switzerland to form the Silvretta Arena, one of Austria's largest connected ski areas. Most of the skiing sits between 2,000 and 2,872 m, which gives the resort unusually dependable snow for the Tyrol. The village is also famous for its season-opening and closing concerts on the Idalp.
